Boxes will be set up monthly. A box will usually consist of 4-6 players, playing each other once during the month

One point will be awarded for each game won, and for each match won. Two additional points will be awarded for playing all their matches.

In the case of a tie, the winner is the winner of the head-to-head match. In a three way tie, the winner is the player who allows the fewest points to the other players.

Players are assigned to a box, then move up or down the ladder based on performance.

Matches consist of best of 5 games, where international scoring( to 9 points) is used. If you have questions regarding the scoring contact the coordinator.

Ties will be decided by head-to-head matchplay and then by results against common opponents. The Organizer's decision is final.

All players are required to play a minimum of one (1) match per month else they will be removed for the subsequent month. They must request reinstatement into the boxes (sign up on the website) the following month. I must stand firm on this rule!

Generally, the top two finishers of each box will move up one level, while the bottom two will move down a level. The remaining middle players remain in the same box for next month's play.

Matches will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time by both players.

Matches may be played at any time during the month but must be completed and reported by the last day of the month.

Players must complete at least one of their matches to be automatically included in the next month's box.

Players may enter or exit the box league before the beginning of each month, by joining online.

Results of old boxes, along with the new boxes will be posted on this web site during the first week of each month.

The winning player is responsible for submitting the match result by going to the MCAC website.

Good luck to everyone.
